These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AvClock website at avclock.com and any purchase of AvClock products or services. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

AvClock is a trading name operated from the United Kingdom. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. About AvClock

AvClock produces and sells dedicated live aircraft tracking display units ("Devices") hand-built in the United Kingdom, as well as a software subscription service for use on customer-owned hardware ("BYOC – Bring Your Own Clock"). References to "we", "us", or "our" mean AvClock. References to "you" or "your" mean the individual or entity using our website or purchasing our products.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to place an order. By placing an order you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Orders and Contract Formation

All product listings on our site are an invitation to treat, not an offer. A binding contract is only formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, for example where a pricing error has occurred or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.

Because AvClock Devices are built to order, production begins shortly after order confirmation. Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any change will not affect orders already confirmed.

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By providing payment details you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

5. Hardware Devices

5.1 Specification

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. Minor variations in finish, bezel colour, or packaging may occur between production batches.

5.2 Warranty

AvClock Devices are covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear. To make a warranty claim, contact us at [email protected].

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) or equivalent consumer protection legislation in your country.

5.3 Software Updates

We provide software and firmware updates to Devices at our discretion. We do not guarantee any particular feature will be maintained indefinitely, but we will endeavour to maintain core live aircraft tracking functionality for the lifetime of the product.

6. BYOC Software Subscription

The BYOC subscription grants you access to the AvClock software platform for use on your own compatible display hardware. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as stated at the time of purchase.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. You may cancel before the new pricing takes effect.
• BYOC subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.

7. Accounts

Certain features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, software, and trade marks — is owned by or licensed to AvClock. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our website or services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Transmit any harmful, fraudulent, or spam content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the AvClock software or firmware.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AvClock's total liability to you in connection with any order or use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of profit, data loss, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
